Often regarded as one of the ‘kings’ of library music, Alan Hawkshaw has produced some of Bruton’s most distinctive music. His library work has led to numerous TV themes including the Bruton track Best Endeavours which as been the Channel Four News theme since 1982. Alan is a revered keyboard player, adding the classic Hammond line to the much sampled Mohawks track The Champ. His musical career has also seen him work with David Bowie, The Shadows, Olivia Newton-John, Cliff Richard and Serge Gainsbourg.
