Will Grove-White is from Shepherd’s Bush in London, and has been a member of the internationally renowned ‘Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain’ since he joined, aged 16 years old, in 1990. He has performed in countries across the world, from Japan and New Zealand to Germany and America, selling out venues from London’s Royal Albert Hall to New York’s Carnegie Hall. In a previous incarnation, he was a documentary film-maker and has won three Royal Television Society awards for his programmes. Over the years he filmed, among other things, an armless cage-fighter, an evening with Bill Clinton, and a male strip-show in a Kilmarnock golf club. But over the last ten years he has put the camera behind him to concentrate completely on music. He has written the soundtracks for many TV documentaries, as well as producing his own album.
