Paul Joseph Smith grew up in a single parent family on one of the roughest Estates in the UK, from an early age he developed an unquenchable thirst for Electronica and Dance music. Working 12 hour factory night shifts, he managed to amass the equipment to produce the music he wanted to write. After several underground 12 inch's, a steady stream of releases for larger independents emerged including 70 Tracks for Ministry of Sound. Despite a history of Commercial Releases, Paul is most at home in the Production Music Environment and has found a home at Universal, thriving on the Challenge of bringing his cutting edge Commercial Production and Composition style to a Word and Picture environment. He is most proud to date of his work on Essential Electronica, Clubland 6 and 7 and Big Summer 2, but with an indefatigable desire to develop and push his abilities to there limits, he looks forward to what the future holds.
